Linking Higher Education and the After-School Workforce

A new paper from the Center for After-School Excellence at TASC and Foundations, Inc. explores why and how partnerships between institutions of higher education and the out-of-school time field (OST) can strengthen the quality of children's educational opportunities beyond the school day.

The paper provides promising strategies for serving OST staff and potential guidance points for developing credit-bearing professional development or similar linkages between higher education and OST providers.
